DISCIPLESHIP TRIP
This month some of our team partnered with Exodus, travelled to Romania and took part in their “Leadership Summit”. The summit was targeted at young leaders who desire to grow in their skills and serve local Romanian young people and families.
Our interns were able to receive teaching, be challenged and run their own kids clubs for kids in the area. We were so encouraged by each person’s willingness and drive to serve everyone around them. If the people on that trip are our future leaders within youth ministry in NI, God has blessed us - they were brilliant.
We are thankful to have led alongside Bruce and Jonny from Exodus. It was a privilege to play our part in equipping the next leaders rising up! Please pray for the team, that they will implement what they have learnt into their lives!
ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
April has been a very exciting month as it’s the big build up to marathon day!
We have had so much content going out and so much information going to people running for us we just pray that people will feel a close connection with made for more, and understand the vision.
We are so thankful that so many people have signed up to run for us - honestly could not be more grateful for each individual who is helping us reach our target - what a blessing.
We are so thankful for this and we would love prayer for the following week as we build up to the marathon. Prayer that people will feel part of a bigger community but also that we will hit our target!
NEW OPPORTUNITIES
April has also seen God open doors for new opportunities for our work. We are excited at the prospect of partnership with Club Beyond, an organisation focused on supporting young people in military bases around the world. Their work has shown a similar picture to ours in NI to the increasing need for mental health support for young people.
Please pray that our partnership with them, beginning with resourcing their teams with mental health packs, will support young people and their leaders in facing these struggles.
As the school year comes to an end, we have also launched our 25/26 internship programme. Please pray that God would lead our team in discernment throughout this application and interview process, as our team culture is incredibly important for our work.
