who we are

Made for More is a Northern Ireland based charity, who’s mission is to:
Equip, Empower and Enable children & young people to look after their mental health & well-being.
We do this via the delivery of workshops across Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools, as well as within the Youth and Sports sectors.
Our aim is that by the end of each workshop we deliver, each young person will leave equipped with education and strategies that promote positive mental health and resilience for a purposeful future.

our response

From Sept 27 - Sept 28 via our in person workshops, our team aims to reach 30,000 children and young people across the education, youth and sports sectors.
We also want to reach a further 500 teachers, youth workers, coaches and volunteers, supporting them with training and strategies that help then confidently cater for the common, yet complex needs of the young people in their care.

the invitation

Our desire is that no young person has to journey through mental ill-health alone. Your participation in this event or your financial support will play a significant part in ensuring that no young person is denied the opportunity of our support services.
Our workshops costs are reduced by around 70% and the shortfall is facilitated by a wide range of funders who stand in the gap with us. To help us meet the shortfall, we would love each participant to raise a minimum of £800.
